After doing some image creation work for one of her colleagues, we were contacted by Katherine Bennett Ensor, Ph.D., Director, CoFES, Department of Statistics, Rice University about helping to promote and grow the next Eubank Conference on Real World Markets. About a month or so before the conference date, it became clear that what was really needed — and fast — was for CoFES to have its own website, as opposed to a few pages on the Rice website. We buckled down and created a custom WordPress site for CoFES, featuring the Eubank Conference, but with room to grow so that the site could become a useful for tool for CoFES and its professors and students.
We also helped drive registration for the Conference via press release copywriting and distribution, we well as social media activity. And while we were at it, produced branded pens and other items for the Conference itself.
